Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller and will be based in our Burlington office. The Consolidation Manager is a critical member of the corporate accounting team and is instrumental to the monthly financial close process. The Manager will manage the consolidation activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and corporate policies. Additionally, this role plays a critical part in implementing process improvements, integrating new systems and businesses, and supporting global transformation.
What You’ll Do…
- Leads monthly corporate consolidation under US GAAP and provides support for all aspects and functionality of the OneStream consolidation platform.
- Key member of the monthly financial close team; works closely with global accounting team to meet close deadlines by ensuring key steps are followed to consolidate our financial results timely and accurately.
- Performs monthly analysis of packages received from non-integrated entities such as trial balance flux, account mapping review and review of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepares or reviews key monthly and quarterly reports used for internal and external reporting purposes such as divisional and segment balance sheets, statements of cash flows and SEC filing footnote disclosure support.
- Prepares quarterly review package templates and other reporting templates using OneStream reporting tools to be used by regions/subsidiaries.
- Works directly with business partners (global accounting, FP&A and other) to identify and resolve issues in OneStream. Provides guidance and training on system usage where necessary.
- Maintains chart of accounts within OneStream and makes necessary changes to meta data.
- Masters knowledge of chart of accounts; identifies where there may be discrepancies and works with accounting and FP&A teams to resolve.
- Participates in new system implementations and integrations.
- Provides audit support for various quarterly requests.
- Comply with all Azenta’s Financial Policies, SOX and Audit Certification tasks.
- Collaborate within and across organization on key company-wide initiatives and to support the Finance transformation roadmap (people, process, technology)
What you will Bring…
- Bachelors’ or advanced degree in Accounting
- CPA required, MBA a plus
- 6+years' experience in a related corporate accounting role
- Experience with Onstream preferred or similar consolidation system (i.e. HFM) required.
- Prior experience consolidating within a global company with multiple functional currencies
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- MS Excel skills at an advanced level

- Experience with Oracle, or other large ERP systems is a plus

Working Conditions/ Schedule
- Must be available and willing to attend virtual reviews in local time zones both domestically and internationally as needed.
