The HRIS Analyst will be a key contributor within a team of Workday professionals managing and overseeing key functionality within Azenta’s Human Resources information systems and processes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovating, scaling, automating, and driving efficiencies through our people systems. We are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and get things done in a fast-paced environment and lead change. In this role, you will work directly with our HRIS and broader HR teams to continuously enhance the functionality of Workday, identify and implement solutions to drive leader and employee adoption, and support cross-functional projects. A Day in the Life
- Partner with HR stakeholders on people data and systems projects, integration, and analytics
- Serve as initial contact point for HR system issues
- Monitor and respond to HRIS ticket queue
- Assist with processing, rescinding, correcting, and canceling transactions
- Partner with HRIS team to continuously optimize Workday and implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use of the tool
- Provide Workday end-user support; develop and maintain associated procedures, guidelines, and documentation; and train end-users on new functionality, processes, and reporting
- Partner in the research, roll-out, and adoption of new Workday functionality and the regression testing of semi-annual Workday releases
- Perform HRIS functional responsibilities such as gathering requirements in design sessions, configuration and unit testing, supporting end-to-end testing, and managing appropriate training and integrations as needed
- Assist with preparation for annual HR programs such as talent, performance management, open enrollment, and compensation planning, including requirements gathering, documentation, and configuration updates
- Assist in conducting internal data and security audits and participate in internal audit reviews
- Leverage Workday Community to remain up to date on new features and updates as well as resolve day-to-day issues/bugs
- Provide status updates on in-progress work items and broader roadmap projects
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of Workday experience is required
- Knowledge of most of the following Workday modules: Core HCM, Payroll, Learning, Performance, Benefits, Time and Attendance, Compensation and Reporting
- Demonstrated critical thinking, organization and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of the Workday platform (business processes, job profiles, compensation plans reporting, security, etc.)
